It’s not about ideas.
It’s about making ideas happen.
Deck equipment to Singapore
Transportation of 6.5 m wide structure
Customer turned to ENKEL to organise a transportation of a 6,5 m wide LARS (Deck equipment) from Estonia to UK and Singapore.
Within a limited time and budget we successfully designed a solution, which combines several transport modes: a truck transport to port, a RO-RO ferry to UK, another RO-RO ferry to Belgium, a barge to relocate the structure to another berth and a liner vessel to Singapore.
Despite its complexity we managed to save over 20 days of transit time and over 25% of transportation costs due to usage of a right liner service from Belgium.
Sometimes loading and delivery places located on remote islands represent a challenge for freight transport. Not to say when cargo width is 400 cm.
Thanks to a wise planning it came possible to reduce a total number of trucks and finally keep the budget to a reasonable minimum.
Ships equipment to Finland
Large and heavy by sea to Norway
Delivery of 6 m gates from Poland to Norway by road and sea
Norway is famous for its fjords, mountains as well as for narrow roads, tunnels and ferries which represent a challenge for delivery of oversize cargo.
At Enkel Project Logistics we designed a great solution. Delivery in Poland was completed by trucks, while further shipment was arranged by liner vessel.
