Breakbulk liner shipping is used for transporting oversized and heavy cargo on scheduled multipurpose vessels operating fixed routes.

Unlike chartering, liner services provide predictable schedules and are often a cost-effective solution for medium-sized project cargo. Liner ships are typically much larger in size, so you can benefit from economy of scale even if the cargo does not make a sole ship’s lot.

Enkel Project Logistics organises breakbulk shipments across Europe and intercontinental routes via established liner operators.

Typical large and heavy cargo we deliver by sea:

  • industrial machinery (including heat exchangers, pressure columns, generators)
  • heavy machinery (transformers, pressure vessels)
  • steel structures (bridge sections, offshore structures)
  • modules (house modules, machinery skids)
  • wind energy components (blades, rotors)

Enkel Project Logistics organises regular sailings:

  • North Europe – Mediterranean
  • North Europe – Middle East
  • North Europe – Far East and Oceania
  • North Europe – Canada, US East coast, US West coast and South America
  • North Europe – West Africa
